LifeSmart to Launch HomeKit Starter Sets

While LifeSmart was somewhat late to the HomeKit party, officially at least, they've been catching up a lot lately, with a host of new and existing devices, many of which have gained in functionality from their HomeKit base station. . The company now offers starter kits, similar to the Aqara starter kit that comes with the Aqara hub and a basic set of sensors, buttons and plugs.

LifeSmart offers two separate kits in this case, one called the Smart Home Starter Kit and the Smart Home Kit, although there is not much difference between the two.

With the last option, you get a water leak sensor with the omni inner chamber. It should be noted that although the box is branded HomeKit, the "clicker" and the omni camera are not compatible with HomeKit, but will work with other devices exposed to HomeKit, even through the company's own. App. There is still no information on prices and the type of availability that can be expected. Along with the latest products, Cololight Plus and Cololight Strip, both are now available on Amazon.com. HomeKit compatibility for both products seems like a good bet, as they will soon be available in the UK, EU, and US.
